Pop one of these lil buggers in a random cigarette in their pack, sit back, and wait.
It’s quite satisfying.
I tried it on myself to test them out, but knowing that it was coming spoiled the surprise (and the cigarette).
Word to the wise: beware revenge.
Smokers may not be able to chase after you, but they can be just as vindictive as anyone else… Expect retribution.

this could be a funny gag, but it could actually be a little dangerous, be careful not to use it on people when they’re driving a car, if they have heart trouble etc. works well and durable but louder and a little bigger than i thought they’d be (they’re about the size of a wooden matchstick cut into 1/8ths.

Bought these to try on my wife, and what a disappointment! I thought I’d got a pack of duds as she smoked them and didn’t even comment. Then I tried one myself: The effect is little more than a crackle, and certainly not the end-splitting mini-explosion I remember from when I got my hands on some of these as a kid. I guess worries of lawsuits and injuries have tamed them down to the point where they’re pretty much a waste of time. They even have “Must Be Used With Eye Protection” written on the packet, so you know the lawyers have been all over them.
